High School 9-12

Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School’s high school is divided into grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. Each high school grade level has approximately twenty teachers, each working in their own subject area. (For example, our English teachers are PA-state certified to instruct English.)

Grade level teams also include special education teachers, Title I tutors, ESL teachers, guidance counselors, academic advisors and support staff. A teacher designated as the Grade Level Coordinator facilitates communication and collaboration between the PALCS faculty and staff to better improve and track student progress and achievement in each grade.

In each grade level team, Content Area Specialists ensure that all our teacher-designed lessons conform to Pennsylvania state standards. Our teachers instruct in the following subject areas; please select one to continue:
