Miss Abra Samuels Teaching: Kindergarten Years at PALCS: 3 Graduated: Bachelors in Elementary Education

Miss Samuels substituted for K-8 for a year, taught at Goddard School as a head teacher for a year, and tutored for several years before coming to teach our youngest students at PALCS. 

She was inspired to teach because she wanted "to be challenged, yet help others succeed, especially children. Also my aunt who was a PE teacher encouraged and inspired me!!!  I love that we are encouraged to be as creative as we can be here. I love that our voices are heard loud and clear here. I love the people I work with and how it is very family oriented. I love how we spend much more time giving instruction to our students rather then with classroom management and discipline. I love how I am a huge part of giving students and parents another choice for education and making a difference."

Samuels plans for the future include continuing to teach while pursuing a Masters degree.  She also would like to continue volunteering to help homeless children.

Finally, Miss Samuels would like to add: "I LOVE PALCS!!!!!"
