Ms. Simmons is "incredibly excited to be part of the helpful and eager faculty here" at PALCS.

Simmons got into teaching because, "for as long as I can remember, I knew that teaching was what I wanted to do. I thoroughly enjoy teaching students to see the connections between the past and the present. It is a very fulfilling feeling to lead student’s to the path and then watch them walk down it on their own!"

Ms. Simmons comes to PALCS after substitute teaching in the Abington School District for two years.  "My experience has allowed me to be placed in a variety of settings for varied lengths of time. I am excited to bring what I have learned in the past to PALCS."

"I strongly believe in the mission and curriculum of PALCS. All the teachers make it a point to collaborate on a variety of topics to deliver the best education possible via the World Wide Web."

Ms. Simmons has "lived in Philadelphia my entire life and my future plans include looking to move to Chester County.  I am looking forward to going back to school to pursue my master’s degree in the near future.  One of the things that I would really like to do in the future is to visit every Major League Baseball stadium in the country, or at least get close!"

Finally, Ms. Simmons would like to share, "this is going to be a new and exciting for many of us and I look forward to embarking on this endeavor with you!"
