Brief Biography: Carrie has been a member of The Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School (PALCS) for over 15 years, serving in various roles that support students and families. As the Director of Student Services, she oversees key areas such as enrollment, admissions, orientations, records management, attendance, withdrawals, state testing coordination, health services, and shipping logistics.
Before joining PALCS, Carrie worked at River Speech and Educational Services as a developmental therapist. Her background has helped shape her approach to student services, ensuring that every family receives the guidance and resources they need for a successful educational experience.
Carrie is a strong advocate for school choice and charter schools, believing in the importance of providing families with flexible and innovative educational opportunities.
Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband, Dave, and their two children. Their daughter is a student at Penn State – University Park, and their son is a high school student who loves running and hopes to compete at the college level. A proud Pittsburgh fan, she enjoys all things black and gold and never misses a chance to support her favorite teams.
