Volunteer Clearances
Due to recent changes in the Child Protective Services Law, PA Leadership Charter School requires volunteers who have direct contact with students to obtain the following clearances:
The cost for clearances is the responsibility of the volunteer. Please submit clearance certifications to Human Resources for electronic verification. If you obtain your Child Abuse Clearance (Act 33) through the mail, please bring the original mailed certificate to HR.
Please allow enough time for the clearances to be verified prior to the beginning of your volunteer work. Clearances must be dated within one year of your start date and renewed every 3 years.
