Brief Biography: Mr. Rausch first became interested in teaching while working in the writing center at Temple University. After completing a bachelor of English program and an accelerated Master of Secondary Education program at Temple, Mr. Rausch started teaching middle school English and Social Studies in North Philadelphia. For the next ten years, Mr. Rausch served students and families in a variety of public and independent school environments as a classroom teacher, College Access and Career Readiness Coordinator, and Academic Support Coordinator. Mr. Rausch’s passion for supporting teachers, students, and families led him to pursue a path in school leadership. After completing a Master of Secondary Education and Pennsylvania School Administrator certification program at Cabrini University, Mr. Rausch joined PALCS as the Middle School Assistant Principal. In that role, Mr. Rausch worked closely with PALCS teachers, students, families, and community members to provide the best educational experience possible. In September of 2022, Mr. Rausch became the Middle School Principal where he will excitedly continue to serve the PALCS community. Mr. Rausch has a wife and two young children. He enjoys spending time with his family, running, and playing guitar.
