Brief Biography: Mr. Michaels began teaching over 20 years ago at The Crossroads/Vanguard School in Paoli, PA where he developed a passion for working with students in special education. This lead him to the Methacton School District in Montgomery County, PA where he taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade at the elementary level, 8th grade learning support at the middle school, and life skills/autistic support and 9th grade English learning support at the high school level. Mr. Michaels enjoys seeing the impact he has on students each and every day.

When Mr. Michaels isn’t teaching, he enjoys spending time with his wife Michele and his two adult children Lauren and Matthew. He likes anything to do with cars and has a 1998 Buick Skylark that he likes to fiddle with. Mr. Michaels also loves to do projects around the house including landscaping, refinishing old furniture, and woodworking projects. Mr. Michaels looks forward to meeting the students and families at PALCS and teaching in a cyber environment.
