Brief Biography

Mr. Wilkins enjoys exploring mathematics with students as they build confidence in their problem solving skills. He shares that his struggles to succeed in mathematics while in high school created a passion for him to help students overcome the belief that they cannot understand math. He continues to read and learn about new mathematics, including modern applications in cryptography, and is excited to work with students to practice the applications of mathematical thinking. Mr. Wilkins spends time exploring Pennsylvania’s agricultural highlights with his wife and two children – particularly the orchards of Adams County. In his free time, Mr. Wilkins logs miles on his road bike and tinkers with electronics and computer programming.
