Education: Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Minors in History and Political Science, Pennsylvania State University

Biography: Mr. Wentzel started his journey towards education by working as an instructor and a Director at Bashore Scout Reservation, a Boy Scout summer camp in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He plans on taking the instructional tools he learned such as group collaboration, simulated challenges, and bringing fun into education from the great outdoors of summer camp into the indoor environment of PALCS. Mr. Wentzel student taught in AP classrooms at State College Area High School and is looking forward to helping students do their best and push themselves to explore history and modern events. Mr. Wentzel is interested in nearly all things outdoors: specifically hiking, boating, and rock climbing. He is always willing to talk about comics, film, and board games. Mr. Wentzel also closely follows College and Professional Football with the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Pittsburgh Steelers being his favorite teams.
