Brief Biography: Mrs. Steines lives, in Chester County, with her husband, son, cat and two dogs. Mrs. Steines was introduced, and fell in love with, the arts from an early age. Her grandfather was a painter and her great grandfather was a metalsmith in Vienna. Along with teaching, she is a professional artist, illustrator and silversmith. Her work has been shown in several galleries across the east coast and she is a published children’s book illustrator. Prior to joining PALCS, Mrs. Steines taught at Collegium Charter School for ten years. She loves sharing her passion, for art, with her students and helping them to find their inner artistic voices and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts. She is really looking forward to working with our PALCS students and meeting people from so many different locations and backgrounds.
