Brief Biography: Ms. Frieko has always had a passion for music and teaching. It was only natural that she choose to be a music teacher as her career. Whether it was singing a solo at her 6th grade graduation or performing on the oboe with the Penn State Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, Ms Frieko has filled her life with musical experiences.

Before coming to PALCS, Ms. Frieko was a long-term substitute teacher for the Hollidaysburg Area School District teaching elementary general, band and strings. She was a dedicated volunteer and music instructor for both the Junior and Senior High marching bands. She taught private oboe and flute lessons and worked with a junior high flute choir. Ms. Frieko was also an active performer in local pit orchestras, community bands and in a church choir.

Ms. Frieko enjoys sharing her love for music with her students and PALCS families. She works hard everyday to create meaningful musical experiences for every student that enters her classroom. She is excited to grow with PALCS and be able to offer her students the opportunity to create, perform and experience music in a cyber setting.
