Brief Biography: “An avid reader and writer myself, I seek to empower my students through words, not only to express themselves, but to connect with others and change our world,” says Ms. Walsh “I have had the privilege of learning from teachers who are truly passionate about what they do and I want to share my enthusiasm to inspire my students and support their learning.”
Part of the reason Ms. Walsh became an English teacher is because of how much she enjoys reading and writing, even outside of the classroom. She is involved in different events and programs at her local library, occasionally participates in 5Ks like the Color Run for charity, and just started learning to play the guitar.
