Ms. Bennett has taught music, both privately and in a school setting, for over thirty years. She was the recipient of the 2021 Citation of Excellence in Teaching Award for District 12 from the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association. In addition to teaching at PALCS, she directs and sings with an adult a cappella group, and directs a choir at a retirement community, working with singers in their 90’s.

Outside of teaching and performing, Ms. Bennett enjoys playing the piano, composing, hiking, yoga, sewing and crocheting, and spending time with her adult children and pets.
