Brief Biography: “While I started my professional life in a different field, I always found myself in the role of teacher, and eventually decided to change career paths and use the experience and perspective that I had from working in social services to motivate students in a school setting” explains Ms. Roak-Tincani. Prior to coming to PALCS, Ms. Roak-Tincani worked as an outreach counselor and program manager providing educational, vocational, and social supports in suburban Philadelphia. In her free time, Ms. Roak-Tincani loves to travel, cook, eat and relax with her husband and two sons.
