Brief Biography: Meredith has always had an interest in working with children. She worked as a camp counselor and nanny throughout high school and college. After college she worked in the human services field, servicing families that needed Early Intervention services for their children. This peaked her interest in becoming a teacher and she decided to go back to school to pursue her Masters in Education. She received her Masters in Education, elementary education and special education certifications from Neumann University in 2012. Meredith worked in various classroom positions at the Chester County Intermediate Unit for six years and then transitioned to a small private school in Chester County to be the learning support teacher. While at the private school, Meredith enrolled in Holy Family University’s reading specialist program and completed her reading specialist certification in June 2022. Meredith recently joined PALCS for the 2022-2023 school year as a reading support specialist and is looking forward to sharing her passion of reading with her students. She is excited to introduce new ideas and reading strategies to students in order to help them succeed and meet their goals!
