Brief Biography: Sarah’s passion for teaching health and physical education began from being involved in a variety of athletics, and working with youth from an early age. Through her experience with leading youth in sports, activities, and encouraging healthful living, Sarah decided that being a teacher was the best career for her. She grew this passion and skillset through working as a before and after school childcare worker, and coaching athletic camps. Sarah also was the captain of her college soccer team and a collegiate tennis player which helped her grow in leadership and interpersonal skills. Her most recent teaching position was held as the long term physical education teacher at Mill Creek Elementary School in Bristol.
Sarah is excited to be a part of the PALCS community and work with others to help students develop physically, socially, and emotionally. She is also looking forward to connecting with her students through an online experience, and encouraging them to strive for a healthy lifestyle. Finally, Sarah loves that PALCS offers an opportunity for every student with differing needs to learn through a virtual platform.
