As the month of October comes to an end, we here at PALCS want to thank every single person who was involved in our anti-bullying and bulling prevention activities throughout the month. With October being National Bullying Prevention Month, our Guidance Department sponsored various activities to promote and bring awareness to bullying and prevention.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and here at PALCS, we are celebrating all month long! We want to join together as a community to prevent bullying and make positive changes. The PALCS Guidance Department will be spearheading and sponsoring many activities through the month of October to promote bullying prevention.

Scholastic Book Fair

PALCS families, we are having a Scholastic Tabletop Book Fair! Come out to the Western Regional Center at the Landings and check out all the wonderful books! Drop by on October 19th or 20th between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm and shop around for the perfect book, and maybe even tackle some early holiday shopping.

Student Trip to the Galapagos

At the beginning of August, a group of adventure-seeking PALCS students and high school science teacher Mrs. Emily Intelicato made their way to the Galapagos Islands for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The 10 day trip allowed students to walk in Darwin’s footsteps to explore the historic islands and sites.

Many people are surprised that as a cyber school, PA Leadership still holds prom every year. Prom is an annual event students and faculty look forward to each year. It is a momentous occasion for all involved and this year was no different. Two proms are held, one on the East and one on the West part of the state.

Calling the PALCS community! Let’s PICNIC! Come out and celebrate a successful 2016 - 2017 school year with your fellow PALCS students, teachers, and staff! PALCS students in grades K-12, their parents and their siblings are all invited to sign up and join in on the fun! We will be having two picnics, one on the east and one on the west!

USP Moot Court Teams Compete and Win at Princeton

On Friday, April 28, 2017 several PALCS University Scholars Program (USP) Moot Court Teams traveled from all over Pennsylvania to Princeton University for a two day tournament. USP sent 7 teams total to compete, which is the most ever for the program. Each team consisted of 2 students, and we could not be more proud of the 14 students who competed. We are so happy to announce that one of our very own teams took first place out of 63 teams!

Our students here at PALCS amaze us every day, with their dedication, motivation and compassion. Danielle Guth, PALCS 12th grader, is a prime example. As Danielle’s senior year is winding down, there seems to be no slowdown in sight for this bright young woman who be attending Immaculata University next fall.
