Brief Biography: Mr. VanHassent has a passion for teaching Social Studies. His goal for each of his students is to make them global citizens by exploring the past in order to understand and make sense of the diverse world we live in today. Prior to teaching at PALCS, Mr. VanHassent taught in the West Chester Area School District and the North Penn School District. He currently teaches World History (College Prep), Psychology, and AP Human Geography. Also, Mr. VanHassent is the Assistant Marching Band Director at Downingtown West High School in Downingtown, PA.
