Brief Biography: Mr. Gerstle decided to become a history teacher after having been taught by exemplary history teachers in both middle school and high school. “Many of these individuals were tremendous influences and were great sources of encouragement for me,” says Mr. Gerstle. “I hope to one day be an influence to the next generation of students and encourage them to further themselves as both scholars and individuals.” In his free time, Mr. Gerstle enjoys playing video games, listening to music, playing drums, and reading history books
