Brief Biography: “I have known that I wanted to work with special needs children since I was about 11 years old,” says Ms. Malkasian. “A family that I had routinely babysat for each summer was blessed with a third child that had a lot of medical needs. I was able to witness this child’s progress as his parents and a team of educators worked together to meet his individual needs. This young man is now a full time student at Ithaca College and I feel blessed to have been part of his journey. It is my hope that I can work with others educators to inspire children to grow to their fullest potential in all aspects of their life.”
Ms. Malkasian is “an RYT 200 Yoga instructor, a Crossfitter, and a rock climber.” She and her husband are new homeowners and “we’re having so much fun making it our home.”
