Brief Biography: If you ask Ms. Boyer’s mother, she’ll tell you that Mrs. Boyer has always wanted to be a teacher. Teaching has been her passion since she was five years old! Ms. Boyer loves the moment when a student’s eyes light up and everything clicks, as they discover how concepts in math connect and collide. She has been teaching math virtually for the past 13 years and enjoys challenging her students, helping them develop a growth mindset, and encouraging them to persevere through challenges. Ms. Boyer believes that all students can learn and grow—just not always in the same way or on the same day! She constantly seeks ways to meet students where they are.
Ms. Boyer lives in West Chester with her husband, two kids, and her Math Cat, Charlie, who loves making appearances in her virtual classrooms. When she’s not teaching, you can find her at the pool cheering for her son or at the dance studio supporting her daughter.
Ms. Boyer is a lifelong learner who enjoys exploring new ideas in education and picking up new skills (sourdough baking is her latest hobby!). She also loves finding ways to make life more enjoyable.
