Brief Biography: Bethany found that international relations and politics to be very exciting, important and interesting. It impacts the hows and whys of the global society. She had no desire in teaching and wasn’t sure how to launch into a career with this background. She chose the to go the family route and not the career route. She married her high school sweetheart, John, and just celebrated their 25th anniversary in September 2022. She has one adult daughter. During the time her daughter was growing up, Bethany was an oompa loompa with Neuchatel Chocolates for 14 years. When her daughter finished college it was time for Bethany to make the change to more of a career route. PALCS is a friendly, welcoming place which has helped for a smooth transition. As part of the student services team, I hope to be able to help keep the “behind the scenes” aspects of a school working smoothly. I also find this a great environment to sharpen and learn more tech and professional skills—–I am a Flintstone living in a Jetson world!
