Apply for Enrollment

We’re excited that you’re ready to apply for enrollment at PALCS! Follow the steps below to begin the enrollment process. By completing the Enrollment webform on this page, you will gain access to our online Enrollment Portal. There, you will create an account, upload your materials, and begin the process. Once you have accessed our Enrollment Portal, one of our Admissions Representatives will reach out to you to help!

  • 2. Make Sure You Meet the Criteria

    In order to enroll at PALCS, you must meet the following criteria. If you have questions about whether or not your student is eligible, please contact us today for assistance.

    1. PA Resident
      Students must have a permanent home in Pennsylvania. Though, students are welcome to travel, they must spend most of the school year in PA.
    2. Allowed to Enroll
      Students can not be expelled from their current district. However, if a student has dropped out of school for a short period of time, the student may return to public school with PALCS.
    3. Under 21 Years of Age
      The student must be under 21 years of age and able to graduate before the end of their 21st year.
  • 3. Gather Materials

    To complete your application for enrollment at PALCS, you will need to have access to the following materials. Don’t worry, if you haven’t gathered these materials yet, you can still begin the application process by completing the online enrollment form further down on this page!

    Proof of Age, (1) of the following for the student:

    • Birth certificate
    • Baptismal certificate
    • Record of baptism – notarized or duly certified and showing the date of birth
    • Notarized statement from the parents or another relative indicating the date of birth
    • Valid passport

    Proof of Residency, (2) of the the following for the parent/guardian with whom the child lives:

    • Current utility bill
    • Deed
    • Full copy of lease
    • Property tax bill
    • Vehicle registration

    Documents must be in the name of the homeowner or payee. Also, they must reflect the current address. Finally, they must be within the past 30 days.

    Immunization Record

    • Please provide one copy of the child’s list of vaccines.
    • You may provide other medical and dental forms. However, we do not require them before you enroll. We only require the record of vaccines for enrollment.

    Report Card or Transcripts

    • Grades K – 9: copy of the most recent report card.
    • Grades 10 – 12: copy of the unofficial high school transcript and the most recent report card.
    • Mid-Year Enrollment: include grades/progress reports for each finished quarter of the current school year.
    • Homeschooled Students: send homeschool report card/transcripts as available and include signed evaluations from the previous year and for each year of high school too.

    Proof of Internet Access

    • Copy of current bill or statement of service is acceptable.

    You will be asked to upload digital copies of these materials when you access our online enrollment portal. Or you can send them to us via the following methods:

      Once completed, this form will alert our Admissions team of your interest. It will also give you access to our PALCSchool portal where you can create an account, upload documents and formally apply.
    2. Create an Account in PALCSchool & Upload Your Info
      Once you complete this form, you will be redirected to our online application portal where you can create an account, upload your materials, and begin the application process. Once you have created your account and started the process, one of our admissions representatives will reach out to you to help.

    Please note, in order to ensure graduate success, 12th grade enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year closed on November 4, 2024. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact us at admissions@palcs.org.
