Brief Biography: What inspires me to work in education is the opportunity to ignite a passion for creativity and foster a lifelong love of learning in my students. I believe students can become great artists and visual communicators at any age, and my goal is to inspire and empower them to think visually, keep an open mind, and try new things.
Art and visual thinking are incredibly powerful practices that help young people express themselves and promote conceptual thinking. I provide my students with the skills they need to effectively communicate their ideas and produce meaningful work, while encouraging a growth mindset that helps them embrace challenges and develop problem-solving skills.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and going to museums.
My favorite quote is: “Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” – Rumi
