Biography: Growing up as an only child Ms. Dougherty thrived in the school environment and being surrounded by other kids her age. The influence that her teachers had on her made her want to be a teacher from a very young age. She really enjoys being a part of something that allows her to influence children’s lives in a positive way. Ms. Dougherty is looking forward to creating a relationship with her students that has them excited to come to school. She look forward to seeing her students grow up and find themselves, and she is looking forward to helping them do that.
