About PALCS Guidance

The PALCS guidance department helps students every day, far beyond the task of helping students select their courses. The guidance department offers services K-12, career counseling starting in 8th grade, standardized test prep courses, study skills, and dedicated guidance counselors that stick with students all the way through high school. Furthermore, the department offers crisis response and prevention, encourages self-improvement and kindness initiatives, and spearheads school-wide Bullying Prevention Month activities every October. Make sure to check out the PALCS Guidance Blog for useful college, career, financial and social information for students and families!

Finally, we want to thank each and every one of our dedicated counselors! Our entire Guidance Department constantly does exceptional work in a position that sometimes seems impossible. The support they give to our students and families is what continues to make PALCS a true community! Be sure to thank your Guidance counselor extra this week!!
