PALCS/USP Graduate Charlotte Darby, Class of 2012 Earned Her Ph.D.!

USP wishes a huge congratulations to Charlotte Darby, PhD. Charlotte’s Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science was conferred in May of 2020 by Johns Hopkins University. Her thesis was titled: Computational methods addressing genetic variation in next-generation sequencing data. She is now working as a computational biologist in oncology research and development at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Boston, Massachusetts.

Charlotte writes, “I have come a long way since my school days and my time at USP was incredibly influential in achieving many academic and personal goals over the years. Please give special hello’s to Mr. Sommar, Mr. Park, Mr. Stiles, and any teacher alumni circa 2007-2012. Best wishes for continued success of the school, staff and teachers, and the students!” Likewise, we wish Charlotte the best in her next adventure!
