Brief Biography: Mr. Murray has served in numerous capacities at Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School. He has been a Social Studies Teacher, High School Principal, Middle School Principal, and Educational Technology Supervisor. Since 2014 he has been the Director of Information Technology.

Mr. Murray was inspired to work in education by the teachers he had in school. “I was fortunate to have teachers who had a positive effect on my life,” he explains. “One of the reasons I got into education was to be in a position to have a similar impact on young people.” He has a deep appreciation for PALCS and the staff at PALCS. “I continue to be inspired as I work alongside professionals who are motivated to improve education and the lives of young people.”

In addition to working at PALCS, Mr. Murray has worked for school districts in Delaware, Chester and Berks counties.

Professionally, he has presented at the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference (PETE&C), has been featured in Toggle, and was the pilot host and a creative influence for The Portal, a web show produced by PALCS.

Personally, Mr. Murray enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys. He is an avid Phillies fan and can often be found in the spring and summer coaching baseball.
