Teacher Appreciation Week 2019

Hand written note from child saying thank you teacher

May is here – which means the flowers are blooming, birds are chirping. But, it’s also a time for people to show thanks and appreciation for their teachers.

Teachers are not only kind, patient, and hard-working individuals. They are dedicated and understanding professionals that mold our children’s lives in a positive direction.

It is not an exaggeration to say that a great teacher can change a student’s life! As some of the most influential role models for developing students, teachers are responsible for more than just academic enrichment.
They play a fundamental role in our children’s lives. Teachers inspire a lifelong love of learning and discovery, and make a difference in a students long-term success. A teachers work extends far beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

Since 1984, National PTA has designated one week in May as a special time to honor the men and women who educate our children.
We would like to extend our thanks to all of our wonderful teachers, who fight every day for an individualized and flexible model of education. Our students deserve the best.
We are celebrating here at PALCS all week long with festivities for our teachers that include – an appreciation breakfast, pizza and a movie, and a work from home day. We want to show our deep appreciation for all that our teachers do.

You too can show your appreciation by speaking up! Our teachers want to hear from you. Whether you are a current student, a parent, or alumni – reach out and let teachers know the impact they have made in your life. We would love to hear from you.

Many parents like you chose PALCS, find out more from some of our current families.
